Whyte observes on modern consumer behaviour, his current focus with his interest is limited edition product and the anxiety filled hold seasonal holidays such as Christmas, valentine’s day, Easter and Halloween have on the human condition.
Whyte takes inflatable products from these times and uses them as armatures or moulds, and uses sculptural materials which have limited control time, then challenges them by pushing them even further, intervening, contributing and continuing its disturbed state into absurdity, to then boomerang it back into being a new limited product by the artist himself.
