Pulp Painting with embossed leaves, grass, seeds, dry blossom, Ink, Glitter, and Acrylic

The process of pulping my own paper allowed me to manipulate and shape the swirling mass of shredded fibres as well as to embed seeds, twigs, and leaves into its fabric to heighten a sense of the material process and to give an impression that something is germinating within the paper. The process of rebirth and growth and nature's seasonal shifts are further emphasised by finely pained lines.
