This landscape of my teenage years features fused glass roundels painted with elements that were all-important to my teenage self. The raised coloured areas represent kernals of memory that will be ever-present. The surrounding triangulated landscape shows the ups and downs of teenage existance. The mosaic pattern disintegrates around particularly difficult parts of my life and the fractured area around the Morecambe and Wise roundel is a metaphor for the death of my father (he was a big fan). I have an interest in maps and triangulation is how they were drawn before more modern methods.
